Air Space Intelligence Secures $34 Million in Series B Funding

San Francisco-based aerospace firm Air Space Intelligence has secured $34 million in Series B financing, with notable participation from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) alongside existing investors Bloomberg Beta, Renegade Partners, and Spark Capital.
The capital infusion is earmarked for expanding operations in Washington, DC, and bolstering its capabilities, thereby fortifying its proximity to enterprise and national security stakeholders. Additionally, the funds will facilitate the augmentation of government engineering and deployment teams.
Under the leadership of CEO Phillip Buckendorf, Air Space Intelligence stands as a software-focused aerospace entity, collaborating closely with US and allied government agencies as well as major airlines. Its Flyways AI platform empowers operators with predictive and autonomous monitoring capabilities, facilitating informed decision-making in complex and dynamic operational environments.
The company has already demonstrated operational success with Alaska Airlines and other prominent U.S. carriers, and is now venturing into the government sector, evident from the signing of three contracts with the U.S. Air Force in the past four months.
