Saviynt Secures $700 Million Series B at $3 Billion Valuation to Expand AI-Driven Identity Security Platform

Saviynt, a Los Angeles- and New York-based identity security company that provides AI-enhanced identity and access management solutions, has emerged as one of the most heavily financed players in the cybersecurity space, securing multiple funding rounds and drawing support from prominent growth-stage investors. The company’s funding trajectory reflects its focus on helping enterprises secure human, machine, and AI agent identities across applications, data, and infrastructure as global demand for identity security accelerates in the age of cloud and artificial intelligence.

In December 2025, Saviynt announced the successful completion of a $700 million Series B growth equity financing at an approximate $3 billion valuation, significantly expanding its capital base and underlining investor confidence in its AI-driven identity security platform. The round was led by funds managed by KKR, a leading global investment firm with a deep track record of backing category-defining cybersecurity and enterprise software companies. Participation in the growth round came from Sixth Street Growth and TenEleven Ventures, both of which invest in technology companies with high growth potential, as well as continued support from existing investor Carrick Capital Partners.

The capital raised in this landmark Series B is earmarked to help Saviynt accelerate product development, expand AI-enabled capabilities within its identity security platform, and enable deeper integrations with cloud providers, hyper-scalers, and SaaS ecosystems. The company also plans to use the funds to support global scaling efforts, driving adoption of its solutions across a broad range of enterprise customers as identity management becomes foundational to secure AI deployments and digital transformation initiatives.

Saviynt’s technology stack converges identity governance, privileged access management, non-human identity management, and identity security posture management in an AI-first design that allows organizations to streamline access reviews, automate provisioning processes, and enforce zero-trust principles across increasingly complex hybrid environments. The company’s platform has been adopted by more than 600 global enterprises, including over 20 percent of Fortune 100 companies, demonstrating traction in highly regulated and large-scale environments where identity risk mitigation is a top priority.

This latest Series B funding follows a history of significant capital raises that expanded Saviynt’s ability to compete with legacy identity and access management incumbents. In 2021, the company closed a $130 million financing round led by HPS Investment Partners and PNC Bank, bringing its total capital raised at the time to approximately $170 million. That round helped Saviynt invest in research and development and scale its personnel to support increasing enterprise demand for cloud-first identity governance solutions.

Earlier in its growth journey, Saviynt secured $40 million in Series A funding in April 2018, with Carrick Capital Partners leading the investment and joining the company’s board to support expansion in the U.S. and international markets. This early stage of funding contributed to the company refining its cloud identity offerings and extending its ecosystem of technology and system integration partners.

In January 2023, Saviynt also raised $205 million in growth financing from AB Private Credit Investors’ Tech Capital Solutions group, an affiliate of global investment management firm AllianceBernstein, underscoring sustained investor interest in the identity security space as enterprises grapple with evolving security and compliance challenges. That financing coincided with the reappointment of Saviynt’s founder, Sachin Nayyar, as Chief Executive Officer, signaling a renewed leadership focus on scaling the company’s identity platform and addressing emerging identity threats.

Over the past decade, Saviynt’s funding history highlights a clear evolution in investor perceptions of identity security—from a niche segment of access governance to a core component of enterprise risk management architecture, particularly as organizations adopt AI and cloud infrastructure at scale. Investors participating in Saviynt’s rounds mix traditional private equity and growth equity firms with specialist venture investors, collectively supporting the company’s growth into a strategic cybersecurity platform.

Saviynt’s latest funding round places it among the better-capitalized companies in the identity security market, enabling an ambitious roadmap that includes accelerated product innovation, broader integrations with leading technology partners, and expanded global sales and support operations. As threats to enterprise digital ecosystems continue to evolve, Saviynt’s growing investor backing and substantial capital reserves aim to position the company at the forefront of identity-centric security solutions for the AI era.
