Vor Systems, a San Francisco-based startup building an AI-enabled transaction platform for renewable energy deals, has raised $3 million in pre-seed funding as it seeks to simplify the increasingly complex process of financing, acquiring, and developing energy projects. The funding round was led by Gigascale Capital, with participation from Virta Ventures and a group of technology and energy industry leaders, including Christopher Payne, Hank Couture, Badrul Farooqi, Joe Song, Paul Grana, and Titiaan Palazzi.
The new capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand the company’s engineering team, and support early partnerships with developers, independent power producers, and infrastructure investors. Founded by Victor Shao, Guillaume Nozière, and John Bragg, Vor Systems is positioning itself as a technology platform designed to address the growing administrative and transactional burden associated with renewable energy development.
