Vietnam’s OKXE Raises $14.5 Million in Series A Funding to Fuel Expansion

OKXE

Vietnamese used-motorcycle platform OKXE has successfully closed its Series A funding round in July, securing approximately $14.5 million, with participation from Gwangju Bank and follow-on investments from existing backers JB Financial Group and The Invention Lab.

Once solely focused on second-hand motorcycle transactions, OKXE has transformed into a multi-service mobility commerce provider. The platform now offers a seamless blend of services, including offline retail “stations,” warranty coverage, and even serves as an official distributor for VinFast electric motorcycles. Its AI-driven pricing tool and transparent transaction process have helped cultivate strong customer trust in Vietnam.

The newly acquired funds will enable OKXE to roll out more branded stores in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, accelerate the launch of AI-powered maintenance services, and introduce new finance and insurance platforms linked to motorcycle ownership. The company also plans to scale its business model regionally, aiming to become a leading full-service used two-wheeler marketplace across Southeast Asia.

An OKXE spokesperson highlighted that this Series A round is more than just capital—it underscores market validation of their integrated mobility services, which they believe will redefine industry standards through technology and service excellence.

Founded in 2019, OKXE achieved nearly 8.2 million app downloads by 2024 and maintains a strong network of over 2,130 partner dealers and 1.57 million active users. Its expansion into the electric motorcycle segment via its late-2024 partnership with VinFast further demonstrates its evolving capabilities.
