Ridley Raises $6.4 Million Seed Round to Expand AI-Powered Real Estate Platform

Ridley, the AI-powered real estate platform aiming to transform how homes are bought and sold, has raised $6.4 million in seed funding, marking a major milestone for the company as it expands its technology and consumer offerings. The funding round represents Ridley’s first institutional backing since the company launched its platform to help homeowners sell without traditional commission fees and to introduce new buyer-focused experiences.

The seed round was led by Fifth Wall, a venture capital firm focused on technology for the built environment and one of the most active investors in property technology globally. Fifth Wall’s involvement underscores its commitment to backing innovation in the real estate space, particularly startups that challenge traditional industry structures and costs.

In addition to Fifth Wall, the financing included participation from several early-stage and sector-focused investors, including 1984 Ventures, 1Sharpe Ventures, Moxxie Ventures, Aglae Ventures, and Park Rangers Capital. Angel investors, including executives from Stripe and Google, also took part in the round.

Ridley plans to use the seed funding to drive multiple strategic initiatives. One major focus is launching its buy-side experience, which will provide home buyers with access to private listings, active homes for sale, and properties predicted to hit the market soon through proprietary predictive analytics. The company’s AI-driven platform blends data-informed insights with interactive guidance designed to simplify the home search process and improve transaction outcomes for buyers.

On the seller side, Ridley intends to expand its suite of tools that allow homeowners to list, market, and sell properties without paying traditional commission fees. The platform combines AI guidance with homeowner-provided insights, interactive chat features, and access to Ridley Preferred Agents — real estate experts available on demand who support the process without the standard commission structure. The funding will also enhance these seller tools, helping Ridley refine its user experience and broaden its reach into new markets outside its initial launch region.

The company’s mission is to rebuild the real estate transaction experience around consumer needs. By eliminating or dramatically reducing the high costs typically associated with agent commissions, Ridley seeks to empower both buyers and sellers with technology that provides transparency, control, and value. According to company leadership, the existing industry model costs U.S. consumers tens of billions annually in fees, and Ridley’s AI-powered approach aims to expand market access and reduce unnecessary transaction expenses.

Ridley was founded by CEO and entrepreneur Mike Chambers, who built the platform to address frustration with traditional real estate processes and costs. Since launching its platform in mid-2025, Ridley has reported significant early traction, including generating substantial lead volume and hosting hundreds of millions of dollars in private listings, highlighting strong consumer interest in its AI-enabled home selling and buying model.

The participation of a group of diversified investors in this seed round reflects broader confidence in Ridley’s strategy and technology. Fifth Wall’s leadership role brings not only capital but also expertise in scaling property technology companies, while the support from ventures such as 1984 Ventures, 1Sharpe Ventures, Moxxie Ventures, Aglae Ventures, and Park Rangers Capital provides a mix of early-stage funding experience and cross-sector insights.

As Ridley continues to expand the capabilities of its AI-driven platform and roll out its consumer-focused features nationwide, the seed funding provides a strong financial foundation for the company’s growth. The combined investor support positions Ridley to advance its goal of creating a more efficient, transparent, and equitable real estate marketplace that better serves the needs of modern home buyers and sellers.
