Partnify Raises €1.8 Million Seed Round Led by Hi Inov to Expand AI-Powered Collaboration Platform Across Europe

Partnify, the Dutch startup developing an AI-augmented collaboration platform designed to streamline project work between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), has successfully raised €1.8 million in a seed funding round to expand its product, team and international reach. The investment round was led by European venture capital firm Hi Inov, marking the fund’s first investment in a Dutch company. Alongside Hi Inov, the financing saw participation from major institutional and strategic investors including Rabobank, Inovexus and MaasInvest, as well as a group of angel investors who largely reinvested after backing the company in earlier rounds.

Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Zwolle in the Netherlands, Partnify aims to solve a persistent challenge for SMEs and their external partners: fragmented communication and disjointed tools that make collaboration messy and inefficient. The company’s cloud-based platform centralizes communication, document sharing, project updates, tasks, deadlines and contracts across companies into a single workspace, reducing reliance on scattered emails, chats and siloed apps. Since early 2024, Partnify has grown its user base from around 200 companies to more than 3,200 organizations leveraging the platform to manage cross-company projects more transparently and efficiently.

The fresh €1.8 million injection builds on Partnify’s earlier seed funding in April 2024, when the company secured €500,000 in seed capital led by early supporters including angel investors. That initial round helped Partnify refine its product, validate demand in the Dutch market and lay the groundwork for rapid user growth. The latest round significantly accelerates the company’s ambitions to broaden its scope.

Partnify plans to deploy the new capital in three key areas: strengthening its engineering and product teams, deepening platform capabilities with artificial intelligence, and driving international expansion across Europe, including markets such as Germany, France, Belgium and Sweden. A core focus of investment is the development of the company’s AI layer known as PAI—Partnify Artificial Intelligence—a technology designed to analyze collaboration patterns, detect early signs of risk such as potential delays or misaligned goals, automate repetitive work and generate actionable insights that help teams stay aligned without added friction.

Partnify’s founders, led by CEO and co-founder Jens Visser, built the platform with a clear understanding of the challenges that come with external collaborations in the SME space. Visser has emphasized that many SMEs derive a significant share of their revenue from partnerships and collaborations, yet existing workflows often scatter critical project information across tools and platforms, making it difficult to maintain visibility and continuity as teams change or grow. By centralizing all project elements—communication, files, decisions and deadlines—Partnify is positioning itself as an indispensable tool for businesses seeking clarity and accountability in partnership-driven work.

Investor confidence in Partnify’s vision and strategy is reflected in the fact that most angel investors who backed the company’s earlier round chose to participate again in the latest financing, signaling strong ongoing support from its initial backers. For Hi Inov, the decision to lead the €1.8 million round underscores the fund’s belief in Partnify’s capability to scale a B2B SaaS solution that addresses inefficiencies in traditional collaboration workflows and delivers tangible value for SMEs across complex project environments.

The involvement of Rabobank, Inovexus and MaasInvest in the seed round also highlights a blend of strategic backing from both established financial institutions and innovation-oriented investment firms. These partners bring not only capital but potential market insights and networks that can help Partnify accelerate its growth and adoption beyond the Netherlands.

Partnify’s evolution from a local collaboration tool to a platform with European ambitions illustrates a broader trend of startups combining AI-driven capabilities with SaaS solutions tailored for the SME sector. With the new funding in place, Partnify is poised to refine its product further, enhance user experiences with predictive and automated features, and extend its footprint across European markets, positioning itself as a leading platform for efficient cross-company collaboration.
