Oriane Raises $1.5M Seed Round Led by Clint Capital to Build AI-Powered Video Search and Intelligence Platform

Oriane, an AI-powered video intelligence startup that helps brands and agencies analyze content across social media platforms, has raised $1.5 million in funding as it scales its multimodal search engine for video-first marketing and analytics.

The company builds a platform that “watches” videos the way humans do—using artificial intelligence to detect objects, brands, speech, captions, logos, and contextual signals across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. This allows users to search, track, and analyze millions of videos in real time, enabling more precise insights into consumer trends, influencer performance, and brand visibility.

The funding round was led by Clint Capital, with participation from Hartmann Capital, Secways, and Archipelago Next, alongside several angel investors with backgrounds at major technology and media companies including Google, PayPal, Sony, and Jellysmack.

Oriane’s core product functions as a “video search engine” that indexes visual and audio content rather than relying on text metadata. Users can search by describing scenes, uploading images, or entering text prompts to locate relevant video moments across major social platforms. The system also extracts structured data such as engagement metrics, sentiment signals, product mentions, and creator information, which can be exported for deeper analysis.

Founded in 2025, Oriane was created to address what the company describes as a major blind spot in digital marketing: the inability of traditional analytics tools to understand what actually happens inside video content. While most social listening tools focus on text-based signals or influencer profiles, Oriane analyzes the content of videos themselves, allowing brands to identify trends, competitors, and user-generated content at scale.

The startup has already attracted early interest from global brands and luxury groups, including Dior, LVMH, and Estée Lauder, who use the platform to better understand how their products appear across user-generated content and influencer ecosystems. The company has also been featured in industry coverage for its approach to “video-first intelligence,” which is increasingly important as short-form video dominates digital consumption.

A key use case for Oriane’s platform is influencer discovery and vetting. Instead of relying solely on follower counts or self-reported bios, the system analyzes what creators actually show and say in their videos. This enables more accurate matching between brands and creators, as well as improved campaign targeting and measurement.

Another core feature is brand safety monitoring, which allows companies to track how their products and logos are used across platforms. This helps marketing teams identify both positive exposure and potential misuse or reputational risks in near real time.

The new funding will be used to expand Oriane’s multimodal AI capabilities, improve video indexing speed and accuracy, and scale its enterprise offerings across Europe and the United States. The company also plans to deepen integrations with marketing workflows, enabling clients to directly connect insights from Oriane into campaign planning, creator partnerships, and performance tracking tools.

As demand grows for more advanced ways to analyze video content, Oriane is positioning itself at the intersection of artificial intelligence, marketing analytics, and creator economy infrastructure, aiming to become a foundational layer for understanding the rapidly expanding video-first internet.
