NOC Energy Raises $2.7 Million Seed Funding to Accelerate Industrial Heat Decarbonization Technology

NOC Energy has raised $2.7 million in seed funding to accelerate the development and deployment of its industrial electrification technology designed to replace fossil fuel-based heat generation with clean electricity-powered solutions. The Houston-based climate technology company is developing a high-temperature heat generation system aimed at helping heavy industries reduce carbon emissions while maintaining the extreme temperatures required for industrial processes.

The seed round was led by 360 Capital, with participation from SOSV and Desai Ventures. The funding will support NOC Energy’s efforts to scale its technology, accelerate commercial deployments, and expand its work in industrial decarbonization.

Founded in 2023, NOC Energy is focused on solving one of the most difficult challenges in the global transition to cleaner energy: decarbonizing industrial heat. Many industrial sectors, including cement, glass, metals, and chemical manufacturing, rely on high-temperature heat generated through fossil fuels. NOC Energy is developing an alternative approach that uses electricity to produce temperatures of up to 1,500°C without combustion.

The company’s technology is designed around direct electrification of industrial heat, allowing manufacturers to replace traditional combustion-based systems with electric heat generation.
