Lumian Raises $3 Million Seed Funding to Build AI-Native Amazon Agency for E-Commerce Brands

Lumian, an artificial intelligence-powered Amazon agency designed to help brands manage and grow their marketplace operations, has raised $3 million in seed funding to accelerate product development and expand its AI-driven platform. The San Francisco-based startup emerged from stealth with backing from Flybridge, Bowery Capital, and Fika Ventures, as it works to transform how brands operate on Amazon through specialized AI agents and human expertise.

Founded in 2025, Lumian is building an AI-native Amazon agency that combines artificial intelligence agents with human brand managers to help companies manage key marketplace functions. The company’s platform is designed to handle areas including advertising, product listings, inventory management, content creation, and account health, while allowing human operators to maintain strategic control over brand decisions.

The newly raised capital will support Lumian’s efforts to expand its AI agent technology, grow its engineering capabilities, and increase support for brands selling on Amazon. The company aims to address challenges faced by e-commerce businesses as competition on Amazon becomes more complex and traditional marketplace management agencies struggle to keep pace with changing consumer behavior and platform requirements.

Lumian was created around the idea that the traditional Amazon agency model was built for an earlier version of the marketplace. The company argues that brands now need more adaptive systems capable of continuously managing advertising campaigns, optimizing listings, monitoring inventory, and responding to changes in customer demand. Its AI agent approach is designed to provide ongoing operational support rather than relying only on periodic manual management.

The company’s platform uses specialized AI agents that focus on different aspects of Amazon operations. These agents are designed to assist with tasks such as advertising optimization, content improvement, inventory monitoring, and account management. Lumian combines these automated capabilities with human oversight to help brands make strategic decisions while reducing repetitive operational work.

The investment from Flybridge highlights investor interest in AI applications that are transforming business operations. Flybridge is a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage technology companies, and its participation as the lead investor reflects confidence in Lumian’s approach to applying artificial intelligence to the rapidly growing e-commerce services market.

Bowery Capital also participated in Lumian’s seed round. The firm focuses on early-stage enterprise technology companies and has invested in startups developing software solutions for modern businesses. Its investment supports Lumian’s goal of building infrastructure that helps brands operate more effectively on major online marketplaces.

Fika Ventures joined the financing as an additional investor. The venture firm backs early-stage technology companies and has supported founders building software products across several industries. Its participation adds further venture support as Lumian expands its AI-powered marketplace management platform.

Lumian’s funding comes at a time when brands selling online face increasing complexity. Amazon has become more competitive, requiring sellers to manage advertising performance, customer reviews, product rankings, inventory availability, and marketplace compliance. Many businesses rely on external agencies or internal teams to manage these responsibilities, creating demand for more automated solutions.

The company is targeting brands across categories including personal care, fashion, supplements, footwear, beverages, and professional tools. Lumian has said its platform is already being used by brands in multiple consumer categories as it continues expanding its AI agent capabilities and onboarding additional customers.

Lumian’s emergence reflects a broader trend of companies using artificial intelligence to automate specialized business functions. Rather than replacing human decision-making entirely, the company’s model combines AI-driven execution with human strategy, allowing brands to automate repetitive processes while maintaining control over important business choices.

The startup was founded by Robin Lobo and Tauseef Khan. Lobo previously built and sold an Amazon-focused consumer brand and gained experience working with marketplace operations, while the founding team developed Lumian around the challenges faced by brands navigating Amazon’s increasingly complex environment.

With its $3 million seed investment from Flybridge, Bowery Capital, and Fika Ventures, Lumian plans to continue expanding its AI-native Amazon agency platform. The company aims to help brands improve marketplace performance by combining artificial intelligence, automation, and expert oversight into a single operating system for Amazon growth.
