Liminal Space Raises $2.5 Million in Funding to Offer VR-like Immersion Without the Need for Headsets

Innovative media and technology startup Liminal Space recently closed a $2.5 million SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity) funding round, securing a sizable investment.

With the assistance of this financing, the company aims to propel its contemporary spatial LED display system to the forefront of the entertainment sector, eliminating the need for headsets while offering a virtual reality-like immersion experience.

Avex USA, Hibino Corporation from Japan, Kevin Bright (executive producer of the popular series “FRIENDS”), Gihan Atapattu (former President Asia, Ball Corporation), Luminus, Inc., San’an Optoelectronics from China, and other strategic investors are some of the noteworthy contributors to this funding round. The fact that such recognized organizations are involved demonstrates how the industry acknowledges Liminal Space’s potential to revolutionize immersive entertainment.

The primary component of Liminal Space’s product line is “The DRIIFT,” a patented spatial LED technology.
