La Fraise Raises €3.2M Seed to Expand AI-Powered Automation for Dental Practices
La Fraise, a Paris‑based healthtech SaaS startup that builds AI‑driven automation tools for dental practices, has raised a €3.2 million seed funding round to accelerate the development and adoption of its platform that streamlines administrative workflows and patient communication for dentists. Founded in 2025 by Arnaud Assous, Cédric Turquem, Florian Duchêne, Matthieu Kern, and Victor Schubert, La Fraise’s software uses artificial intelligence to automate tasks such as generating and following up on quotes, handling insurance procedures, managing financing options and securing electronic signatures, while also improving communication between practices and patients.
The seed round was led by 20VC, a venture capital firm focused on backing founders building transformative software companies, and included participation from Seedcamp, one of Europe’s early‑stage funds, and Kima Ventures, the Paris‑based global seed investor. The round also saw support from a group of practicing dentists who bring direct industry insight to La Fraise’s mission, as well as a loan from Bpifrance, France’s national public investment bank.
La Fraise’s mission is rooted in tackling pervasive inefficiencies in dental practice administration — a space where practitioners often spend significant time on repetitive, non‑clinical tasks that detract from patient care. By automating these processes, La Fraise aims to help clinics focus more on treating patients while reducing treatment abandonment rates, which occur when patients forgo recommended care due to friction in cost transparency, scheduling and communication.
The platform’s suite of AI agents interacts directly with patients, sending reminders, clarifying treatment plans, guiding them through insurance procedures and offering financing suggestions tailored to individual needs. This capability is designed to reduce administrative burden and keep patients engaged throughout their treatment journey, which can ultimately lead to higher treatment acceptance and better outcomes for both patients and dental practices.
La Fraise’s founders bring deep experience from the healthcare and tech sectors, including prior roles at major European health‑tech companies such as Doctolib, where several co‑founders played key roles in product, sales and operations. Their collective background positions the company to address longstanding workflow challenges in dental practices with a combination of domain expertise and cutting‑edge AI automation.
Since its launch, La Fraise has seen rapid adoption within France’s dental community, with more than 1,200 dental practices onboarded in its first six months and roughly 250 practitioners joining each month, signalling strong market demand for automated, AI‑enabled solutions that simplify day‑to‑day operations. Thousands of treatment plans have been facilitated through the platform, with practitioners reporting significant time savings and smoother patient engagement.
The newly raised capital will be deployed to further develop La Fraise’s AI capabilities, improve automation across administrative tasks and patient interactions, and scale the platform to additional dental practices across Europe. By deepening its technology stack and expanding market reach, La Fraise aims to become a central operating system for dental practice management — helping clinics of all sizes modernize their workflows and enhance the quality of care delivery.
Investors backing La Fraise have emphasised the significance of combining healthcare domain insight with AI automation to address real‑world challenges in clinical settings. With its seed funding secured and a growing base of users, the company is positioned to drive broader adoption of intelligent workflows that relieve clinicians of administrative burden and place greater focus on patient outcomes.
Beyond immediate product development and expansion, La Fraise’s funding success highlights the increasing investor interest in healthtech solutions that leverage AI to streamline healthcare operations and improve patient engagement. As the dental industry — like many other areas of healthcare — contends with staffing pressures and a need for enhanced practice efficiency, automated systems such as La Fraise’s platform are gaining traction for their ability to deliver measurable value for clinicians and patients alike.
Overall, the €3.2 million seed round marks a significant milestone for La Fraise as it scales its AI‑driven platform and expands its footprint in the European dental market, positioning the company for continued growth and innovation in the evolving landscape of healthcare technology.
