KERV Interactive Secures Growth and Series B Funding to Scale AI-Powered Interactive Video Platform
KERV Interactive, the Austin, Texas–based developer of interactive and shoppable video technology, has built its business with the backing of multiple private equity and venture investors over several funding rounds. The company, which specializes in using artificial intelligence and machine learning to transform standard video into interactive, data-driven experiences, has raised capital to support product development, commercial expansion and long-term growth.
In April 2019, KERV Interactive announced an $11 million funding round led by Vestech Partners, LLC, which acted as the majority lead investor. At the time, the company highlighted strong engagement performance from its patented interactive video technology, which enables viewers to engage directly with products, information and calls to action embedded within video content. The funding was aimed at accelerating adoption among brands and agencies while strengthening the company’s engineering and sales capabilities.
The 2019 raise marked a significant milestone for KERV as it moved beyond early commercialization and into broader market penetration. The company positioned its technology as a way for advertisers to drive measurable engagement without disrupting the viewing experience, an approach that resonated with investors focused on emerging advertising and media technologies.
KERV continued to attract investor support as it scaled. In May 2022, the company raised $12 million in growth capital to further expand its platform and go-to-market efforts. The round included a $7.5 million facility from Trinity Capital Inc., a provider of venture debt and equipment financing to growth-stage companies. Additional participation came from Plaza Ventures, which focuses on early- and growth-stage investments, alongside returning investor Vestech Partners, LLC.
This growth financing brought KERV’s total capital raised to approximately $30 million and reflected continued confidence in its AI-driven approach to video advertising. The company said the funds would be used to accelerate product innovation, expand marketing and sales operations, and support a growing customer base across digital, mobile and connected TV channels.
More recently, KERV entered its next phase of expansion with a Series B funding round announced in November 2025 under its KERV.ai brand. The round was led by Coral Tree Partners, a Los Angeles-based growth-oriented private equity firm with a focus on media, entertainment and technology. The Series B investment is intended to support research and development, team growth, infrastructure scaling and broader market expansion for KERV’s AI-powered contextual commerce and video intelligence solutions.
Across its funding history, KERV Interactive has worked with a diverse group of investors aligned with its long-term vision of making video more interactive, measurable and commerce-enabled. The company has emphasized that its capital base allows it to continue refining its patented technology, which analyzes video content frame by frame to identify objects, scenes and metadata that can be transformed into interactive experiences in real time.
The progression from an early private equity-led round to growth financing and a Series B raise highlights KERV Interactive’s evolution within the advertising technology sector. With continued backing from firms such as Vestech Partners, Trinity Capital, Plaza Ventures and Coral Tree Partners, the company is positioning itself to scale its AI-driven video solutions as brands seek more engaging and performance-focused digital media formats.
