We are a diverse team with backgrounds in technology and entrepreneurship and we are growing rapidly to deliver on our mission. We are actively seeking a General Manager who is highly motivated, organized and experienced to help scale up our programs and activities in SIngapore, which serves as our regional headquarters.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Management

  • Oversee one or more programs in our Singapore office in the areas of Financial Services, Sustainability or others
  • Overall responsible for driving key results and performance indicators for our corporate innovation and accelerator programs
  • Oversee program planning and execution including networking events, selection days, focus weeks, demo days/Expos and other ad hoc events
  • Provide regular reporting to Plug and Play APAC management team

Corporate Partnerships

  • Work with APAC and HQ teams on corporate business development and partnership efforts with Singapore-based as well as multinational corporations
    Manage and grow relationships with existing corporate partners, increasing engagement, defining strategic focus areas, encouraging best practices and increasing revenue
    Identify growth opportunities and develop new programs and products to enable continued growth of Plug and Play in Southeast Asia

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s, Masters or MBA (preferred) in related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in corporate, enterprise or technology sales and business development
  • Proven track record of building C-level business relationships, negotiating complex business agreements and executing partnerships
  • Experience with B2B based partnerships, large scale projects or engagements with Fortune-1000 corporations
  • Confident of achieving high revenue/sales-based targets and managing P&L
  • Experience with managing P&L with revenue/sales based targets
  • Experience in startup, venture capital preferred
  • International study and/or work experience preferred
  • Can-do attitude, strategic thinker and self-motivated team leader
