Responsibilities:

• Research companies applying to Accelerator, Remote Demo Day or The Syndicate
• Conduct founder calls
• Analyze and summarize findings of research & calls in company database in Notion
• Perform due diligence (including financial, customer & IP) on companies entering Accelerator, Remote Demo Day or The Syndicate
• Help manage the process of investor surveys for demo days
• Stay up to date on the latest developments in venture capital – who, what, when, where, why and how of funding
• Produce edits/updates to internal and external content for decks
• Have your pulse on the startup world and be able to research and write tomorrow’s headlines, today
• Other tasks as assigned

Skills Required

• 2+ years of experience working in startup environments
  Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Be exceptional at productivity, communications & web software (i.e., Mailchimp, Google Docs, Keynote, Squarespace, Slack, Typeform,WordPress, Outreach.io, Notion, Crunchbase, etc)
• Relentless positivity & dogged resilience — we’re a scrappy team doing world-class work
• Proactive thinking & the ability to anticipate problems is critical. We need to have backup plans for our backup plans

Compensation: $45,000 CAD per annum
