Position Overview:
StepStone Real Estate is looking for a detail-oriented analyst to join the team that supports SRE’s investor relations and marketing activities. A solid understanding of the private equity markets and client service is desired.
Essential Job Functions:
- Draft and prepare investor marketing materials including, but not limited to, customized materials and presentations for investor meetings, portfolio reviews, and materials for various events such as annual meetings, onsite meetings, etc.
- Assist in managing ongoing investor inquiries, monitoring requests, and supplemental reporting materials:
- track reporting requirements and ensure accurate and timely delivery to investors
- create, compile and/or review quantitative and qualitative information in response to monitoring requests and due diligence questionnaires from current and prospective clients
- manage coordination across SPAR, Accounting/Finance and Asset Management teams, assisting with completion of general IR sections, ensuring information/data is submitted in clean and client friendly manner
- Support the team in the preparation of client communications, including quarterly investor reports, market updates, investment summaries and ad hoc investment update presentations for commingled funds and separately managed accounts
- Coordinate internally across fund accounting, tax, compliance and legal teams related on all fund communications and/or investor inquiries
- Maintain database of team and client data, qualitative and quantitative investment metrics, and supplemental reporting, ensuring accuracy and integrity of the data on an ongoing basis
- Provide support in various aspects of the fundraising process, with a large focus on completing RFPs and presentation materials
- Ad hoc projects as required
Education/Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in finance, business accounting, economics, or equivalent preferred
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with private equity analytics and client reporting
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Microsoft office programs; Salesforce experience desirable
