Entrepreneur First is the world’s leading talent investor. Since 2011, we’ve pioneered a new model of company creation, with over 2,000 individuals having gone through our platform in London, Singapore, Berlin, Paris and Bangalore, with Toronto launching in 2020. To date, EF has created 300+ seed funded companies with a combined valuation of over $5 billion, including Magic Pony Technology (AI, acquired by Twitter), Represent (social commerce, acquired by CustomInk), BloomsburyAI (acquired by Facebook), Tractable (AI), OpenCosmos (space) and many more.
We’re proud to be backed by renowned investors such as Reid Hoffman (LinkedIn), Demis Hassabis (Google’s Deepmind) and Taavet Hinrikus (TransferWise), fueling our ambitious plan to create hundreds more impactful startups in the next few years. Our team is central to enabling, shaping and supporting this journey, bringing exciting growth focused opportunities as part of our program delivery or global functions.
The Role
You will have a unique opportunity to collaborate with the Program and Talent teams that play an integral part of EF Toronto’s value proposition to produce globally relevant companies. You will get visibility into the full cycle at EF, including talent acquisition and program operations as well as supporting companies in their seed stage fundraising process.
The Talent team focuses on discovering high potential founders before they’re founders and enabling high potential talent to embark on a life changing journey by accessing entrepreneurship through our platform.
The Program (Form + Launch) teams focus on enabling the selected individuals (cohort members) to find the right co-founder and help to develop and refine ambitious ideas, and then to turn those ideas into a seed-funded business.

Joining EF Toronto means you’ll be involved in many aspects of the organization. You will be working right at the heart of EF’s unique and proven methodology which consists of coaching and guiding highly talented individuals to build valuable companies. You will rotate through Program and Talent, supporting where required. This means that you’ll have a front-row seat to seeing what it takes to turn the world’s most ambitious talent into founders of the world’s leading tech start-ups.
Selection: You will support our Talent Team in its investment decision-making, including sourcing, outreach, reviewing applications, shadowing interviews and talent attraction through events, PR and community outreach.
