The Role
We’re looking for a Special Projects Manager – Talent capable of identifying talent communities and conceptualizing & running high-touch Events, Community Strategies and Content Plays for them. Talent is our number one operating priority and we’re passionate about making Entrepreneur First the default career pathway for the world’s most impactful individuals. You will work closely with the local Partner & GM and the local Talent Team.
This role is a part-time role for 3 days a week with potential to switch to a full-time role.
What You’ll Do
- Defining & Building strategic ecosystem partnerships and co-executing initiatives with them (e.g. events & creating content)
- Attending and hosting a high volume of events in the ecosystem recruiting top talent
- Hosting premium and exclusive experiences for our target recruits, building the relationship thereby inspiring conversion to applications (vs hard selling)
- Creating shareable content to distribute on our social profiles (not the EF owned channels)
This role is based in Berlin, reporting to a Partner, and can start immediately.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working in Brand & Content Marketing at an agency or in an in-house role, ideally in the venture industry or at a venture-backed startup companies with hands-on Experience
- A genuine passion for technology and startups, an entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to learn
- Proven attention to detail through prior work or life experience
- Comfortable working in ambiguity but with high expectations
- Strong emotional intelligence and proven ability to connect and nurture relationships with members of the startup ecosystem
- Systems thinker with an eye for things that do not scale and the capability to design new processes and systems for implementation across programs
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years experience in Event Marketing / Operations & preferably talent
Bonus: Familiarity with the DACH Talent Landscape & University Ecosystem - A ‘get things done’ attitude – you demonstrate operational excellence and ensure quality and integrity in everything that you do
