The Role
We are looking for an HR Program Manager to join our growing HR team. At a16z, we want to ensure that we’re enabling our people to maximize their impact and do their best. As a Program Manager on the HR team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional partners across Talent Acquisition, IT, Events, and Finance to efficiently execute on scalable programs authentic to our values. We are currently 200 employees in multiple locations and are investing in rapid growth plans, which means you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and initiatives. - Build and cultivate long-term relationships.
- Be a critical partner in implementing key components of our People programs and processes.
- Support our new hire onboarding experience to ensure our process and workflow scales with our rapid growth. Partner cross-functionally to develop and maintain team specific new hire content.
- Maintain the HR intranet content to ensure it’s a real-time source of knowledge and support for our new hires, employees, and managers.
- Assist the broader HR team as we launch and iterate on various L&D initiatives including feedback training, interview training, and manager training, among other development programs.
- Have the strong ability to think proactively in order to create scalable solutions and first-in-class employee experience.
- Proven ability to analyze, synthesize, and leverage data to make recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in program management, preferably in onboarding, operations, or other HR related program
- Success implementing programs, processes, and reporting frameworks that measure results.
- Strong mindset for innovation, continuous improvement, and an inclusive approach to our people programs.
- An eye for detail, you are quick to catch the little things, and know the value of a polished finished product.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem solving skills.
- Friendly presence and helpful attitude, the desire to learn and not be afraid to ask questions.
- Experience with Google Suite, Culture Amp, and HRIS tools are a bonus.
