NYC-based mobile staffing marketplace Jitjatjo has secured $11 million in Series A funding, led by Morningside Technology Ventures. As part of the investment, Mick Sawka from Morningside Technology Advisory LLC will join Jitjatjo’s Board of Directors.

The company plans to allocate the funds towards several key initiatives, including:

• Establishing an experiential headquarters in New York.

Founded in 2016 by Ron McCulloch (Executive Chairman) and Tim Chatfield (CEO), Jitjatjo initially focused on serving New York City’s hospitality sector. In this phase of growth, Jitjatjo aims to expand its team across various departments, including sales, client success, talent acquisition, and community management. Additionally, the company is prioritizing the enhancement of its technology capabilities by strengthening its product and engineering leadership and teams.
