Holo Raises $22M Series A to Expand Digital Home-Financing Platform Across UAE and Saudi Arabia

Holo, a Dubai‑based fintech platform that is reshaping how people buy homes in the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has secured $22 million in Series A funding in one of the largest fintech raises in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region in 2025. The investment will support the company’s regional expansion, strengthen its technology infrastructure, and fuel growth in new markets as demand for digital mortgage and home‑financing solutions continues to surge.

Founded in 2020 by Michael Hunter and Arran Summerhill, Holo offers a fully digital home‑buying and mortgage platform designed to simplify the traditionally complex and paper‑heavy journey of securing financing and purchasing a property. The platform gives prospective buyers access to more than 20 lenders with real‑time visibility, allowing users to compare mortgage options, complete applications, and track financing status from pre‑approval to closing all within a unified digital interface. Holo has processed substantial transaction volumes and served tens of thousands of clients, demonstrating strong market traction in the Middle East’s rapidly digitising real estate and financial services sectors.

The Series A funding round was led by Impact46, a Saudi Arabia‑based venture capital firm that focuses on backing high‑growth technology ventures across the Middle East. Impact46’s lead investment highlights its confidence in Holo’s ability to transform access to homeownership by bringing transparency, speed and convenience to a process that has historically been opaque and inefficient.

Supporting the round was Mubadala Investment Company, a sovereign investor from Abu Dhabi with a diversified portfolio spanning technology, infrastructure and strategic growth sectors. Mubadala’s participation reflects the firm’s commitment to fostering innovative fintech solutions that align with broader goals of economic diversification and digital transformation across the UAE.

Additional participants in the financing included Rua Growth Fund, anb seed, MoreThan Capital, and returning backers Salica Oryx Fund and Dubai Future District Fund. These backers bring a mix of regional institutional expertise and sector insight, reinforcing Holo’s strategic positioning at the intersection of fintech, proptech and digital financial inclusion.

Holo’s founders have stated that the new capital will be deployed to support the company’s expansion into Saudi Arabia, where housing market growth and regulatory reforms are creating fertile ground for digital financial solutions. Saudi Vision 2030 — a broad economic development initiative — is also driving innovation in real estate, finance and consumer services, offering tailwinds for technology platforms that can streamline access to financing and homeownership for a broader segment of the population.

Part of the funding will also be used to enhance Holo’s proprietary technology stack, ensuring faster approvals, deeper lender integration and an improved user experience, and to expand local teams in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The company’s product roadmap includes improvements to its user experience and deeper integration with financial institutions to widen the array of mortgage options available to buyers.

The Series A haul positions Holo as a rising fintech and proptech leader in the MENA region, where investment in digital financial services continues to grow. As traditional lending processes give way to more automated, customer‑centric models, startups like Holo are attracting capital by addressing real‑world pain points experienced by homebuyers and lenders alike.

Industry analysts have noted that the GCC’s property markets are among the fastest‑expanding globally, with rising demand for housing and an increasing appetite for transparent, digital tools that reduce friction in transactions. Holo’s ability to process significant monthly transaction volumes and its growing user base underscore the value of its technology and its relevance to a large and underserved market segment.

For co‑founders Michael Hunter and Arran Summerhill, the Series A funding represents both validation of Holo’s business model and a springboard for broader regional impact. Their mission is to make homeownership more accessible and affordable by reducing complexity and increasing transparency in mortgage financing — a proposition that resonates strongly in markets that have traditionally relied on manual, fragmented processes.

As Holo scales its operations across the Gulf and enhances its platform with new features and partnerships, the company’s leadership expects to continue drawing strategic investment and expanding its footprint in major real estate markets. With backing from world‑class investors and a clear mandate to innovate, Holo is poised to play a pivotal role in transforming how home financing and property ownership function in the Middle East and beyond.
