Eolic Wall Secures New Investment to Scale Modular Wind Energy Technology for Distributed Power Generation

Eolic Wall, a Peru-founded deep tech startup developing modular wind energy systems for on-site power generation, has secured new investment to accelerate commercialization of its technology and expand deployment of its compact wind energy solutions. The company received investment from Epic Angels and Market Impact Capital as part of a financing round aimed at supporting commercial pilot units, intellectual property development, and team expansion ahead of planned deployments.

Founded by Natalia Cardenas and Dr. Alfredo R. Calle, Eolic Wall is developing a new approach to wind energy generation that focuses on bringing wind power closer to where electricity is consumed. The company’s technology is designed around modular wind systems that can be installed on buildings, industrial facilities, and other locations where traditional large-scale wind farms are not practical.

Eolic Wall’s mission is to make wind energy more accessible by creating systems that can operate in urban and distributed environments. The company has developed compact wind energy units designed to capture turbulent, low-speed wind conditions that are common around buildings and infrastructure. Its approach aims to complement existing renewable energy solutions by providing an alternative for locations with limited space or restrictions that prevent the installation of conventional wind turbines.

The company’s flagship technology consists of modular “Eolic Cells,” which are designed as power-dense, low-maintenance wind energy systems for on-site generation. According to the company, the units can be deployed individually or combined into larger installations, allowing customers to scale renewable energy generation according to their needs. The systems are intended for applications including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, data centers, and communities seeking additional clean energy sources.

The new investment marks an important milestone for Eolic Wall as it moves from technology development toward broader commercialization. The company plans to use the capital to build commercial pilot units, strengthen its intellectual property portfolio, and grow its team as it prepares for initial deployments.

Epic Angels, a global female investor collective, participated in the round as part of its first investment in Peru. The organization highlighted Eolic Wall’s goal of making wind energy as accessible and distributed as solar power by enabling renewable generation directly at the point of consumption.

Market Impact Capital also joined the investment round, providing additional support for Eolic Wall’s expansion efforts. The participation of climate-focused investors reflects growing interest in technologies that can increase renewable energy adoption through smaller-scale and decentralized solutions.

Eolic Wall has previously received support from several innovation programs and accelerators. The company was selected by Techstars through its Industries of the Future program in 2023 and has also been supported by Third Derivative, a climate technology accelerator focused on scaling solutions that address global environmental challenges.

The company’s development has also included recognition from innovation and entrepreneurship organizations. Eolic Wall was selected for the WeXchange program supported by IDB Lab, participated in climate and energy innovation initiatives, and received recognition for its work in renewable energy technology.

The investment comes at a time when renewable energy companies are increasingly focused on decentralized generation models. While large wind farms remain a major source of renewable electricity, distributed technologies are gaining attention because they can provide clean power closer to consumers and reduce reliance on centralized infrastructure.

Eolic Wall’s approach is designed to address some of the limitations associated with traditional wind energy installations, including large land requirements and dependence on remote wind farm locations. By creating smaller, modular systems that can be installed on existing structures, the company aims to expand the potential locations where wind power can be deployed.

The company has also collaborated with research and innovation organizations as it develops its technology. Eolic Wall has highlighted its work with partners including Oak Ridge National Laboratory and its participation in programs supporting advanced energy technologies.

With new investment secured, Eolic Wall plans to continue advancing its modular wind energy platform and preparing for commercial deployments. The company is focused on creating a new category of distributed renewable energy systems that can operate alongside existing solar and grid infrastructure.

As demand grows for cleaner and more flexible energy solutions, Eolic Wall is positioning its technology as a way to bring wind power into environments traditionally considered unsuitable for wind generation. Through compact design, modular deployment, and distributed energy production, the company aims to contribute to the expansion of renewable energy access worldwide.
