Devotion Raises $4M Seed Round Led by Basecase and Will Ventures to Scale AI-Powered Influencer Marketing Platform

Devotion, an AI-powered influencer marketing platform focused on helping brands scale creator programs in the algorithm-driven social media era, has raised $4 million in seed funding as it emerges from stealth with early traction among major consumer brands.

The round was led by Basecase and Will Ventures, according to publicly reported information. Both investors are backing the company’s vision of rebuilding influencer marketing around high-volume, AI-assisted creator ecosystems rather than traditional one-to-one influencer relationships.

Founded by Cami Téllez, previously the founder of the Gen Z underwear brand Parade, and former TikTok executive Jon Kroopf, Devotion is building an AI-native platform designed to automate and scale how brands discover, manage, and evaluate creators. The company is targeting a structural shift in the creator economy, where algorithmic distribution on platforms like TikTok and Instagram has reduced the importance of follower counts and increased the value of content performance.

Devotion’s platform uses artificial intelligence to streamline key parts of influencer marketing workflows, including creator discovery, brand safety analysis, content review, and campaign management. It also provides automated scoring systems to assess brand fit and helps determine which posts should be amplified. While AI handles large-scale processing, human oversight remains part of the workflow to ensure quality control and brand alignment.

The company says it spent much of the past year in beta and has already signed more than 10 clients, generating seven-figure revenue prior to its official public launch. This early traction has positioned Devotion as one of the emerging players in the growing market for AI-enabled marketing infrastructure.

The funding from Basecase and Will Ventures will be used to expand Devotion’s engineering team and build out its AI systems further, particularly in areas related to creator graph analysis, campaign automation, and large-scale relationship management. The company is also investing in its operational infrastructure to support brands running high-frequency influencer campaigns across thousands of creators.

Devotion’s founding thesis is built on the idea that traditional influencer marketing models—often centered on a small number of macro-influencers—no longer reflect how content is distributed online. Instead, modern platforms prioritize engagement and relevance over follower count, enabling smaller creators to achieve significant reach. The company believes brands must shift toward working with hundreds or even thousands of creators simultaneously to remain competitive in this environment.

By automating much of the manual work involved in influencer coordination, Devotion aims to enable what it calls “high-scale creator ecosystems,” where brands operate more like content networks than traditional advertisers. This includes managing payments, compliance, and performance tracking across large creator groups in a unified system.

The rise of Devotion comes amid a broader surge in AI adoption across the marketing and advertising industry, where companies are increasingly turning to automation to manage fragmented digital channels. Influencer marketing, in particular, has become more complex as brands attempt to track performance across multiple platforms and rapidly changing algorithms.

With its $4 million seed round led by Basecase and Will Ventures, Devotion is positioning itself at the intersection of AI infrastructure and the creator economy, aiming to redefine how brands engage with digital creators at scale in an increasingly algorithm-driven content landscape.
